Tammy S. J. Schneider, CPA, Manager
Tammy joined Glass Jacobson in September 2007. She has thirteen years of public accounting experience with a focus on business management, accounting, tax preparation and planning. Tammy is the Director of the Women-Owned Business Practice, and works directly with business owners to help them accomplish their business as well as personal financial goals.
Tammy has proven experience in preparing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, along with corporate and individual tax planning and preparation. Her experience and proactive approach has helped clients not only survive in these tough economic times, but grow their business and has set her apart as a trusted advisor. Her focus on women in business is shaping her into a premier accountant for Maryland women business owners.
Tammy received her BA in Computer Accounting from Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College). She is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor. She is a member of the AICPA and the MACPA.
Tammy is also very active in the community. She completed Network 2000′s Effective Impact mentoring program in 2010, and is the President of the Board of Directors for Camp Fire USA – Baltimore, Inc. She also sits on Junior Achievement MD’s Associate Council and contributes bi-monthly articles to the Independent Insurance Agents of MD’s “Maryland Messenger” publication. Tammy is a supporting member National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and volunteers time with Mechanicsville Elementary School PTA, Carroll County YMCA Sports, Oasis Homeless Shelter and her church.
She lives with her husband and two sons in Carroll County.
