Bart joined Glass Jacobson as a senior accountant in 1984 and is now a partner of the firm. His areas of concentration include construction, real estate, hospitality, and wholesale distribution accounting. Bart has extensive experience in the accounting side of government contracting for small businesses. In addition, he has developed and presented internal CPE courses on governmental accounting topics.

In 1994, Bart was instrumental in identifying the need for a construction committee within the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Bart is a certified valuation analyst and is a current member of the Association of Builders and Contractors. Bart is also an investment advisor representative.

Bart’s role at Glass Jacobson includes leading the firm’s quality control effort to ensure firm compliance with all professional accounting standards. Under his guidance as the quality control director, Glass Jacobson has received only three unqualified opinions over the past eleven years. Bart has been quoted as a professional source and has authored several articles that have appeared in The Daily Record and the CPA Statement.
