Michael joined Glass Jacobson in 1990 and has since helped direct its growth into a wealth management firm. With over 30 years of professional experience in public accounting, Michael has provided clients with consulting services in the areas of profitability and organizational growth, financing, mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses, as well as protecting and enhancing the wealth of business owners. In his role as managing director of Glass Jacobson, he directs the firm’s internal technology strategies and implementation, business processes, and business development.
After the successful launch of his third business in 1995, Michael was recognized by Warfield’s Business Record as their “Hot Shot” and has continued to be recognized more recently by Smart CEO Magazine as a Smart CPA honoree from 2005 to 2008. In February 2011, Michael was recognized by Baltimore Magazine as a “Five Star Wealth Manager.”
Michael is a certified public accountant (CPA), who earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting magna cum laude from Towson University. Michael holds the FINRA registration for uniform investment advisor representative, holds series 6, 65 and 63 investment licenses, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Maryland Association of CPAs.
Michael’s philanthropic activities have included serving as treasurer and a member of the board of directors of Partnership for Learning and Beth Israel Congregation. Michael is also a member of the Potomac Porsche Club of America.
