

| Edward J. Jacobson, CPA, CVA
Ed joined Glass Jacobson in 1980 and currently serves as president. He is responsible for identifying and implementing new services and growth opportunities within the firm. Ed also specializes in litigation support, buy/sell agreements, financial planning, certified business valuations and health care management. In addition, Ed provides expert testimony to federal and local courts on business valuation, stockholder disputes, damage calculations, domestic cases and tax issues. He co-founded and is a managing member of Glass Jacobson Investment Advisors, LLC – the financial services arm of the firm – through which he provides a wide range of financial, investment and insurance consulting and planning. Having earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, Ed is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Valuation Analyst and a Registered Investment Advisor, and he is licensed in life and health insurance. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Ed serves on the board of directors for Kids’ Chance of Maryland. He was awarded Smart CEO Magazine’s Smart CPA Award in both 2004 and 2005. Ed has given numerous educational presentations at financial management conferences and associations, including “CPA’s – Valuable Selling Tool for Financial Advisors”, “Growing Your Firm through Mergers and Acquisitions” and “Entering the Business World of Medicine.” Ed has also contributed articles to Physician’s Practice Digest.
