Larry has been with Glass Jacobson since May of 2001. Prior to this, Larry worked for the McNor Group. He has regularly contributed written articles for the Madow Brothers Monthly (formerly The Richards Report), a national newsletter for dentists, and has spoken to dental societies and dental students.
Larry is a 1980 graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School. After serving three years in the United States Air Force Larry entered private practice first as an associate and then as the owner of his own dental practice. After 17 years as a practicing dentist he changed careers and became a certified public accountant in 1996.
His prior experience as a dentist proves invaluable in assisting his clients in accounting, tax planning and practice management issues. Because of his dual degrees Larry brings a unique perspective in helping his dentist clients achieve success in their dental practices. He writes a bi-weekly dental-specific business blog for Glass Jacobson to keep area dentists up to date with tax and practice management tips.
Larry is also a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland State Dental Association.
Larry is a volunteer with Paul’s Place, a support center for the Washington Village/Pigtown Community in Baltimore.
