Odelle L. Heimiller, CPA, MST
Odelle Heimiller first came to Glass Jacobson in 2003. She returned to the firm in July 2010 after a 3 year hiatus in private/corporate accounting.
Odelle is a Tax Manager, specializing in multi-state business filings. She also works directly with individual and business tax clients to help them with efficient tax planning strategies to minimize their tax burden. She currently acts as tax advisor on many of the firm’s larger clients representing multiple industries. Odelle also manages administration duties for the tax department, including developing policies and workflow procedures, as well as maintaining Glass Jacobson’s tax software system.
Her time spent in a corporate tax department helped her better understand tax preparation and planning from the client perspective. She better appreciates some of the issues businesses face in organizing their tax and financial documents and systems.
Odelle received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the MACPA and the Tax Section of the AICPA. She volunteers as the Secretary of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association and is an active volunteer with the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, recently serving as Director of Finance for the fraternity foundation.
