Patrick Trotta, CPA, Principal
Mr. Trotta came to Glass Jacobson in November of 2009. Previously, he was the Co-Founder of Sacks, Trotta, Koppelman, LLC. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, Mr. Trotta has spent a major portion of his career consulting with healthcare providers on third-party reimbursement (e.g., Medicare and Medicaid) and financial issues. He was a member of the group analyzing the Nursing Home Case Mix Quality Demonstration Project, which was utilized in developing the current PPS reimbursement system for SNFs. Mr. Trotta is a frequent speaker on healthcare related issues and provides litigation support services to numerous healthcare providers.
Mr. Trotta earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland and the District of Columbia. His professional associations include the American Institute of CPAs, the Maryland Association of CPAs and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He sits on several advisory boards, including the Associate Member Committee, the Stella Maris Advisory Board and Mid Atlantic Lifespan.
