Robin Thomas, Registered Paraplanner®
Robin joined Glass Jacobson in 2010 and supports Glass Jacobson Investment Advisors’ Advanced Planning Group. In October 2011, Robin received the Registered Paraplanner (RP®) designation. Registered Paraplanners have completed a course of study encompassing the financial planning process, the five disciplines of financial planning and general financial planning concepts, terminology and product categories. Individuals also complete a three-month long internship. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.
Robin volunteers as the coordinator of the Neighbor 2 Neighbor program in Ellicott City, MD and works on various fundraising events for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She currently serves as the President of the Back Stage Backer, the parent organization behind the theatre department at Centennial High School, where her two children attend.
