Retiring 2006 Quickbooks

For Clients with QuickBooks 2006
Discontinuation of Support and Services
Discontinued as of May 31. Clients using QuickBooks 2006 should have already received notification that Intuit live technical support and services specific to their software will be discontinued after May 31, 2009.
What This Means. If customers would like to continue to use QuickBooks Payroll Service, Merchant Account Services, live technical support and any other QuickBooks services through the software, they will need to upgrade to QuickBooks 2009. If they no longer need access to these services, they can continue to use QuickBooks 2006 (although of course we recommend they use a current version).
Products affected include QuickBooks 2006 for Windows, QuickBooks Pro 2005 and 2006 for Mac, Point of Sale 5.0, the Credit Card Processing Kit, and Invoice Manager
